Adjutant to 6th Bn. from May 1943 until it was disbanded. Served with 5th Bn. in Guards Armoured Division in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany 1944-45. President Cold- streamers Association, Exeter Branch 1953-63.

    On Council of Devon Agricultural Society 1950-63; Vice-President of the Royal Bath & West Agricultural Society; A Trustee of St. Michael's Home, Cheddar, until it became a Cheshire Home; On Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital Management Committee from 1952 until it was disbanded. A member of the Committee of The Royal School for the Deaf in Exeter 1950-63.

    Member of the British Red Cross Society at Ottery St. Mary where she did her training. During the 1939-45 War worked at the Tiverton Hospital and the B.R.C.S. Convalescent Hospital at Windsor. Member of the Committee of the Royal School for the Deaf at Exeter 1950-63.
