In 1932 the Earl of Devon had a portrait of Thomas Tayor, which Major A. Hubert Gibbs had an engraving. The family properties were sold by Pierce Taylor in about 1860. His younger brother, Rev. Fitzwilliam Taylor, who was sometime Rector of East and West Ogwell, left a family, some of whom were living in 1932.

Thomas married Elizabeth Pierce in 1752. Elizabeth (daughter of Adam Pierce and Anne Gibbs) was born in 1730; died in 1777. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
