Merchant and grocer, Steward of Exeter 1678. Will proved in 1689 in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury, Doctors Commons, Exeter.

Of the Gandy family a Henry was Mayor of Exeter in 1672, John in 1714 and William in 1720, and all three Stewards of Exeter several times previously (see Izaack's 'Exeter'), but their relationship to Simon is not recorded.

Simon married Elizabeth Gibbs on 17 Jun 1673 in Exeter, Devon. Elizabeth (daughter of Abraham Gibbs, of Exeter and Elizabeth Mauduit) was born in 1650 in Exeter, Devon; died between 1717 and 1719 in Exeter, Devon. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
