Technical advisor with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). He has an MPH and has worked as researcher, epidemiologist and disease prevention expert in the UK, Australia, the Pacific and Eastern Europe and Central Asia. His work within UNFPA covers support for key and other vulnerable populations, co-leading the Interagency Working Group on SRHR/HIV Linkages (to strengthen linkages between HIV and broader SRHR programmes) and the Interagency Working Group on HIV and Key Populations (to coordinate community-led programmes with and for key populations). His work focuses on developing human rights-based, people-centred services and community empowerment for reducing risk of HIV infection.
