    • LifeSketch: See Findagrave.com Memorial # 15161533 - includes his history. Lindley\'s Fort was built on his property for protection against the Indians. During 2015 historical sources for all of the descendants of Demas Lindley were attached to their person pages. All ancestors who were presumed deceased by that year (born before 1915) were added. The 1920, 1930 and 1940 census records and obituaries that are attached may contain the names of children who were presumed still living when the sources were attached and so were not added. They will need to be added as time goes by. Of course new sources will continue to be added as more indexing is done, but all available sources were added and dates standardized, and relationships corrected as much as possible at that time.
