At Eton won quarter mile race 1943; served in Royal Horse Guards (the Blues) 1943-47; won Polar Bear Division quarter mile race 1946.
Fellow of the Chartered Land Agent's Society and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors 1958; assistant to G. C. Laws at Westcote Barton, Oxfordshire, 1952-58; practising as Land Agent in general practice since from his house, Flintham House, Oaksey, Malmesbury, Wilts., his residence since 1957.
